Abstract
Based on three UMAG exhibitions—‘Metamorphosis and Confrontation. Tobias Klein’ (2020), ‘Couplet Pair Rebus. The Principle of Cause and Effect in Art’ (2023/24) and ‘8 times 8. stories series systems in mythology and art’ (2025)—the curator and designer of the exhibitions, Dr H. P. Kraemer, will offer insight into the diversity of curatorial strategies and exhibition languages. The lecture will be followed by a preview tour of the current exhibition ‘8 times 8. stories series systems in mythology and art.’

Dr Harald P. Kraemer
Dr Kraemer is an art scholar, curator and designer with a focus on Museum Studies and Media in Museums. Through his dissertation “Museum Informatics and Digital Collections” and his engagement in Interactive Hypermedia Applications, he is counted among the founders of the Digital Humanities. Since 2022 he has been at UMAG where he curated and published “Couplet Pair Rebus. The Principle of Cause and Effect in Art” as well as “8 times 8. stories series system in mythology and art” (2025).
