Abstract

Organised in conjunction with the exhibition Kings’ Inscriptions · Contemporary Interpretations, the speaker will present a study on Chineseness, boundaries, abstraction and the materiality of ink art, with a particular emphasis on its current development. Recent ink art from Hong Kong will be used as case studies.
