The Belvedere Museum is one of the world’s oldest museums, housed in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The museum’s goal is not only to preserve the past, but to actively drive digital transformation. Through innovative media—including gaming, augmented reality, and immersive experiences—the team at the Belvedere Museum aims to make art more accessible.

Wolfgang Bergmann

 

Wolfgang Bergmann has been Managing Director of the Belvedere Museum since 2017. He has a master’s degree in theology and started as head of communications at Caritas in 1988, followed by director of communications at the Archdiocese Vienna. In 2000 he became General Manager of the daily paper Der Standard and was appointed a member of the board of the Standard Media AG in 2008.
