Like the exhibition Metamorphosis or Confrontation, the accompanying publication presents an exceptional selection and range of artworks by German-born, Hong Kong-based artist and academic Dr Tobias Klein. By exploring the application of 3D printing in architecture, art, design and interactive media installations, Klein has created a fusion of contemporary CAD/CAM technologies constructed from natural materials, found objects and cultural historical references. The book gives insights into Klein's oeuvre and discusses the curatorial strategy behind UMAG's display. It will be presented in the exhibition galleries and the contents will be discussed by the three authors, Tobias Klein, artist, and Harald Kraemer and Florian Knothe, exhibition curators, together with renown journalist Vivienne Chow.
